Boys and Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester Welcomes Two New Board Members

Mount Kisco, NY (September 11, 2007) – Justin T. Green and William G. Balter have been selected to join the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester. The appointments were announced by Brian Skanes, Executive Director of Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester.

Justin Green is a Northern Westchester Boys & Girls Club alumnus and is proud to serve as a board member. Mr. Green is a partner at Kreindler & Kreindler LLP, the world's leading aviation law firm, and represents aviation disaster victims and their families. Prior to beginning his legal career, he completed Naval Flight School in Pensacola, Florida and served as a USMC pilot in the Gulf War. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Union College in Schenectady, NY, and a law degree from Fordham Law School in New York City. Mr. Green resides in Sleepy Hollow, less than a mile from the Club's Tarrytown Center, with his wife and three sons.

William Balter has been involved in real estate development for more than 15 years and is currently president of Wilder Balter Partners. Prior to forming his partnership with Robert H. Wilder, Jr., Mr. Balter founded and ran Balter Properties Inc., a company that repositioned bank owned real estate and developed affordable housing in the New York metro area. Mr. Balter's focus over the last decade has been on developing luxury and affordable housing in the Hudson Valley, including fifteen communities in Westchester County. Last year, Wilder Balter Partners became one of the first community builders in the Hudson Valley to commit to green construction practices on all new residential developments. Mr. Balter holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Skidmore College and a Masters of Science Degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. He resides in Mt. Kisco with his wife and three daughters.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester was established in 1939 as a place for "boys to get off the streets." It is a non-profit organization dedicated to the service of all youth with a primary focus on children with special needs. The main unit in Mt. Kisco, NY is a 36,000 square-foot facility featuring an 8-lane pool, Child Care Center, gymnasium, games room, two computer labs and an additional 1,600-foot Teen Center facility. The Club has two satellite programs: a youth and teen center in the Yorktown Community Center; and a full service program at The Community Opportunity Center in Tarrytown, NY.
