Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester To Hold Annual Spring Fashion Show on Saturday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m.
Mt. Kisco , NY (3/27/08) — The Boys and Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester will host a benefit Spring Fashion Show on Saturday, April 12 starting at 7:00pm in the David Feldman Memorial Gymnasium. The event is part of an ongoing effort to provide funding to the Club's youth programming. The Club's Liberty Keystone members will be overseeing the fundraiser.
The models for the fashion show consist of Club members from area high schools and middle schools. Clothing donors for the event include T.J Maxx, Torrid, Yogi's Paw, Elephant's Trunk, Annie Sez, Against All Odds, Towne Ridge Cleaners & Tailors, and New York Dolls. The primary sponsor of the show is Passage to India, a restaurant located in Mt. Kisco.
The Keystone Club is a leadership and service group for youth ages 14-18 who elect officers, plan and implement their own activities in six areas: service to Club and community, character & leadership development, education and career exploration, unity, free enterprise, and social recreation. Liberty Keystone develops and participates in ongoing educational and social programs each year including college prep programs, regional conferences, recreational trips and numerous social collaboration projects.
According to Barbara Cutri, Director of Operations, Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester, "The Annual Fashion Show serves as the defining project for our Keystone Program and establishes valuable resources for programs in the coming year. Besides serving as a fundraiser, the fashion show helps build self-esteem for teen participants."

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester was established in 1939 as a place for "boys to get off the streets."
